Review:
Goodreads Summary:

Whether she's in front of the camera or behind the scenes, style icon Lauren Conrad has spent years learning from the pros and perfecting her look, and now she's sharing all her beauty secrets.

In her first guide dedicated exclusively to beauty, Lauren covers everything you need to know to maximize your own beauty potential. From tips for creating a strong foundation and maintaining healthy skin and hair through diet, exercise, and all-around wellness to everyday makeup techniques and tricks of the trade for special-occasion looks, "Lauren Conrad Beauty" provides the advice you've been waiting for. Lauren's personal anecdotes and illustrated step-by-step lessons for makeup, hair, and nails will have you looking great for day or night.

Characters:

There obviously aren’t any characters in this book, so this section doesn’t make sense, but I do love Lauren Conrad who is pictured throughout this book!  I loved her on Laguna Beach and The Hills, and I have picked up her book called Style so obviously I had to check this book out too!

Plot:

Again, no real plot here, but throughout the book, Lauren Conrad shows her favorite techniques for hair, makeup, skincare, and nails!  Her techniques also come from her trusted makeup artist, hair stylist, and esthetician.  I thought the tips and tricks were interesting and fun to read about!

Writing Style:

Lauren Conrad has written her fair share of books, and although I don’t think her novels are the best, I definitely like these Style and Beauty books!  I think they are so fun, and I love how they are put together.  I feel like you get a little bit more of a background on Lauren’s childhood because of the little stories that she includes.  Also, the pictures in this book as great quality and so pretty!

Have you read this book?  Have you check out some of her other books?  What did you think?
