February Book Haul

With all this cold, freezing weather, I was in need of some shopping!  But with my book buying ban (except not really a ban, more like a "just watch it and don't go crazy … you have enough books"), I went to my local used bookstore (which doesn't always have the greatest selection of books) and found a few things that I was interested in checking out.  And here are my results:

The DaVinci Code  by Dan Brown

I haven't seen the movie or read this book, but I have heard fairly good things about it.  I decided to pick it up, and although, I don't plan on reading it soon, I am excited to check it out!  Also, I'm not for sure if this is the sequel to Angels and Demons or what the deal is with this series...

1,000 Places To See Before You Die (USA & Canada) by Patricia Schultz

When I was looking around through the bookshelves, my mom actually saw this book and picked it out.  We have done a lot of traveling throughout the US as a family during my childhood, and that is what inspired me to major in Travel & Tourism in college.  I have this book sitting next to my bed, and if I'm too tired to read something else, I will just flip through the pages and read the excerpts about random places, some I have been to and some I would love to visit.

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

I have heard so much about Sarah Dessen recently (especially on Booktube), and I do remember reading some of her books back when I was in middle school; however, I haven't read this one.  Plus it was only like $1 so I thought I would give it a go!

Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult

The last book I found was a hardback so it was $2, but I have LOVED the other books by Jodi Picoult (like My Sister's Keeper) that I have read so I couldn't pass this one up!  I am so excited to read this!

I'm not really sure what any of these books are about (except 1,000 Places To See Before You Die).  Have you read any of these?  What did you think?
