Time for the
July book haul! Now, I definitely
don’t need anymore books because of my To-Read pile, but I’m pretty sure I have
a good reason for this one … plus it’s pretty small compared to my other book
hauls. :)
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
So … this is the
book that caused the book haul. If
you read saw my April Book Haul, then you may have noticed that I bought
Pride and Prejudice previously from
Amazon. Unfortunately, I didn’t
notice this (and noticed that it wasn’t mentioned in the product description)
that this was an abridged version. :( I was so upset when I saw this.
If I’m going to choose to read a book, I don’t want only part of the
book. So bummed. Luckily, it was super cheap so it
didn’t really matter too much.
Anyways, I went to my local Barnes and Noble, on a hunt for this
book. Obviously, I found it, and I
trust that the Barnes and Noble Classic edition is not abridged. :)
If He Had Been With Me by Laura Nowlin
I first saw this
book on Goodreads, and I believe that it was recommended to me because of some
other book that I previously read.
I saw this while walking around Barnes and Noble and decided to pick it
up and check it out. I have
already read this book, so look out for a review coming soon!
The Tudors by G.J. Meyer
Like I
mentioned, I specifically went to the bookstore only for Pride and Prejudice.
Well, as soon as I walked into the store and looked at the first table
filled with books, I saw this one.
OMG this book is SO me! I
absolutely loved English monarch history, especially the Tudor dynasty! I immediately picked this book up and didn’t
put it down as I walked around the store.
I am so excited it read it! :)
Have you read any of the books that I
hauled? I would love to know your
thoughts in the comments below! :)
