August Book Haul

Ready for another Book Haul?!  I literally think I’m obsessed with Bargain Books…I just can’t say “No! You have enough!”  Needless to say, Bargain Books got the best of me, and I had to place this order. :/

The Soldier’s Wife by Margaret Leroy

I haven’t heard anything about this book previously, but it was a bargain book on Amazon, and the cover and title definitely attracted me.  I looked up the description and decided to throw it in the cart!  I believe this book is about a woman who falls in love with a German soldier who takes residence in her house during World War II while her husband is away fighting.  I love Historical Fiction as well as learning about WWII so I definitely wanted to check this book out!  I can’t wait to read it!

The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory

Obviously, like I just mentioned, I love Historical Fiction!  And Philippa Gregory is by far one of my favorite authors!  I love her books so much!  If you read my review for The Other Boleyn Girl, then you know that I love the Tudor Dynasty (this love can also be seen in my July Book Haul).  There are 6 books in Gregory’s Tudor Court Series, this being number 3.  Although it is part of a series, I do not think that you have to read it in any specific order.  I love the history of the Boleyn family, and I am so excited to get into this book!

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

So I have heard SO many wonderful things about this novel!  I had to pick it up and see what all the excitement it about!  I think this book is about a girl who has a deadly touch.  And that’s about all I know.  LOL.  I am so excited because I am really in a dystopian mood right now, and I definitely think this will be the next book that I pick up!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Yes.  This book.  I’m pretty sure EVERYONE knows about this book, and probably has already read it as well.  But, I have not read it, and I haven’t read a John Green book (I have heard great things about him!).  So I am definitely excited to pick this book up, but I'm also a little nervous because I know it will be sad. :/
