The Hunger Games Tag 2

*THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE HUNGER GAMES SERIES*

I absolutely LOVED The Hunger Games series, and you can read my review for the entire trilogy here!  I fell in love with the characters and loved the action in the plot!  I completed another Hunger Games tag a while ago, but this one looked so fun to do too!  Also, Catching Fire is coming out soon! :)

 

1.     Gale or Peeta?

Absolutely Peeta.  No question.

2.     Effie’s crazy style or sweet and simple like Cinna?

As much as I loved Effie’s style and seeing how the people in The Capitol dressed, I personally prefer more of a simple style like Cinna.  I think the people of The Capitol dressed so uniquely and fun, but I personally wouldn’t wear their clothes (or dye my skin a different color).

3.     Life in The Capitol or slug it out in the districts?

As much as I hate the capitol and their treatment of those that are not from their city, I would much rather live in the comfy, glamorous capitol than in the dirty, poor districts described in the books.

4.     Bread from District 11 or lamb stew from The Capitol?

Bread!  Definitely the bread from District 11.  I absolutely love bread of all kinds; it’s kinda my weakness.  And yes I know that it isn’t the healthiest with all of its carbs, but I can never resist a nice piece of bread, whether it is alongside a pasta dish or dipped in spinach dip!

5.     Katniss’s archery skills or Cato's knife fighting abilities?

I would choose Katniss’s archery skills.  I think that would be so cool.  I remember in 6^th grade, our class went on an overnight trip for 3 days, and we could learn archery as one of the many activities.  It was a lot of fun!  Plus, it just seems safer in the Hunger Games; you would shoot from farther away (hopefully) rather than having to be closer with the knifes.

6.     Peeta’s gift of camouflage or Rue’s gift of climbing?

I will say that Peeta’s camouflage skills shown in the movie are pretty cool!  However, I would choose Rue’s gift of climbing.  I love heights, such as ladders or rollercoasters (plus if I could be any animal, I would definitely choose to be a bird because of the flying and the heights).  I think it would be so cool to easily climb through trees and not be seen!

7.     Become an Avox or get stung by a tracker jacker?

I guess I would choose to be stung by a tracker jacker.  I think that might be the lesser of two evils as it isn’t permanent like becoming an Avox.

8.     Join forces with the careers or run for the hills?

RUN FOR THE HILLS!  I would definitely follow in Katniss’s footsteps and take off for the forest as soon as possible.  I would try to get as far away from the other people in the arena.

9.     Who's cuter? Prime or Rue?

I’m going to have to go with Rue on this one.  I do think that Prim is cute, but I really did think that Rue was so adorable helping Katniss with the tracker jackers and teaming up with her!

10.  Run for the cornucopia or run for the hills?

Once again … RUN FOR THE HILLS!  If you can’t tell by now, I am a total scaredy cat when is comes to fighting, so yes, I would definitely avoid, avoid, avoid, and just wait it out until the end (I’d probably starve to death or something … :/ ).
