June Book Haul

I believe I placed this order at WalMart.com because they were amazing deals!  I think I ended up getting these 3 books for around $15 altogether with free shipping to the store!  I think this is the perfect book haul to start off the summer!

The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

I just love Nicholas Sparks!  He is definitely one of my favorite authors, but at times I do have a love/hate relationship with him.  I find some books to be a little too predictable, however, that never stops me from buying his novels!  I believe this is a movie too?  Most of his novels turn into movies, so I would say that is a pretty safe guess.  Lol.

The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks

....another Nicholas Sparks book....whose's surprised at this point?  I don't really know what this book is about (or the previous one for that matter), but of course I need to read them and see!

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

Now, I used to read Sarah Dessen books back when I was in middle school.  I remember liking the few that I read, however, Bookables started a Sarah Dessen Book Club a little while ago, and it got me thinking that I should pick some Dessen books up again.  I believe she mentioned that this is one of her favorites so I'll have to read it sometime soon!

Have you read any of these books?  What did you think of them?

  1. I haven't read any of these books though I have seen 'The Lucky One' movie AND I have read a few Sarah Dessen books which I loved. I actually just finished 'Just Listen' a few days ago. Great author! :)

    1. How was the movie "The Lucky One?" It has Zac Efron, right? I think I have it on my DVR waiting until I read the book before watching! :)

  2. I absolutely love Zac Efron but was disappointing in the movie. I'm not sure whether I had too high of expectations because everyone about it or whether it was too soppy and unrealistic... but I know a lot of people did love it.
