July Book Haul

I think that this is one of my most exciting book hauls because I am so pumped for each of these books!  They are all very hyped up and sound so good that I can't wait to get started.  If fact, I have already read a few of them!  :)

Stolen by Lucy Christopher

This is one of the books that I have already read and reviewed and LOVED!  Such a great novel with an interesting plot about a girl captured from an airport.  I definitely recommend this one!  You can check out my review here!

Of Poseidon by Anna Banks

I have recently been hearing many amazing things about, not only this book, but the entire trilogy!  I think recently the third book in the series was released, and it seems that everyone loves it!  Now, I haven't read any mermaid books so this will be a first, but I am excited!

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

Another book that everyone talks about!  I have heard that this plot is confusing, but in a good, fun, intriguing type of way but don't know much more than that!  I can't wait to check this book out, and I think I might plan on reading it very soon!

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This is the first in the Lux series (which I think is up to 5 books, or the 5th book might be coming out soon).  I have heard that this book is an addicting alien read with great writing by Armentrout!  Can't wait to start this series!

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke

I have also already read this book but have yet to review it (hopefully soon)!  This book is classified as a gothic, scary story; however, I did not find it that scary or creepy.  I personally am on the fence about it and still trying to decide if I want to continue on with the rest of the series!

  1. I think I read your review of 'Stolen' and have added it to my must read pile. I read the back of 'Of Poseidon' a few years back when it first came out and really loved the sounds of it, and it is still in the dreaded, 'to buy, to read' pile. I hadn't heard of the other books, but they all sound quite intriguing.
