Waiting in the airport...
I am so excited about this move as this is something that I have always wanted to do. I love the weather, the palm trees, and the opportunity that comes with the west coast. I recently graduated in April of this year with a degree in Travel & Tourism, and because of where I am located in the Midwest currently, there are little opportunities to get jobs in that industry. Although I will miss my family and friends so much that are here, I am excited to be starting a new chapter in my life, through a new apartment, new location, and new job! I can't wait!
Relaxing by the pool...
With that being said, the last few months have been hectic! I recently was planning a trip out to California so that I could get to know the area as well as do some apartment hunting! I have a video documenting that trip up on my channel, too! I travelled with my older brother, who is moving with me, and we are both so excited! After that trip, we have been busy getting paperwork around for our new landlord and buying furniture for the new place! Both very fun things, but it is taking away from my reading time! Hahaha. I feel like every time I sit down to read something else comes up that needs to be taken care of, or I'm just plain exhausted and ready for bed. Plus in the next few weeks, we will begin loading up the moving truck and flying out to our new apartment to unload it all.
Enjoying California Pizza Kitchen & Pinkberry!
So the reading has basically come to a screeching halt. LOL. I was just thinking about filming a September Wrap-Up and October TBR, but I kinda don't think that will be fun to watch since I'm pretty sure I only read 2 books this month. We shall see...
I am currently reading 2 books though, so hopefully I can finish Nothing Left To Lose by Kirsty Moseley, which I am really enjoying and close to finishing, and Twinkle by SJ Parkinson, which I was sent for review!
Flying home...
With all that is going on though, I did manage to post an update video, which explains the move to California as well as an update on my 2014 Reading Goals and my Project 10 Books! Be sure to check that out!
