I actually hate writing these posts because it means that I haven't been reading lately (or posting videos on my BookTube channel)! Well let me explain....
So like I have mentioned in previous posts, me and my older brother moved across the country from the Midwest to California! We are loving it out here (especially the weather!), but now that we have finished moving in and exploring the area, it was time for us to get jobs. I know right...boo. But, I moved out here specifically to find a job in California's extremely large Travel & Tourism industry because of my college degree. After some time applying for jobs online and interviewing at various locations, I finally found a job that I love! I am working at a travel agency in Beverly Hills (near Rodeo Drive!); the agency focuses on corporate and entertainment travel as well as some leisure travel.
Anyhow, I am loving my job, but it is taking up all of my time! Haha! I get up in the morning, head into work, and then I get home around 7:00pm. By then, I'm ready for dinner and a shower, and I usually head to bed after watching a little TV. I know I should replace the TV watching with reading, but sometimes I feel like I'm too tired to completely focus on reading. It also doesn't help that I have recently become obsessed with a new show. Well, it's new to me. Law & Order: SVU is currently on its 16th season, and I love watching all the reruns! I'm addicted!
But, I'm currently reading Gone Girl, and I'm really enjoying it. I just need more time in the day to devote to it. However, I am still hoping to get to 2 other books this month: a book sent to me for review and My True Love Gave To Me. Hopefully, I can still get to these books this year. I will do my best, but wish me luck!
